I like how you can have the buttons momentary or on/off. The buttons lite up very well. The mount is thin and aluminum so with heavy bouncing or vibration it will break. This unit is not at all waterproof or resistant. I have to take it apart and silicone everything.

Great Budget Option

Classic case of you get what you pay for. Is this the nicest controller on the market? No. Does it work? Yes. Buttons feel great, the sticker sheets are extremely inclusive and the buttons are recessed to the stickers fit right in. Only complaint is that the stand is a little flimsy and the wiring harness is too short. Other than that, definitely recommend this as a budget option.

Hey there! I have the UBL mini Controller and I had a couple questions regarding it. Along with this controller, I have 2 visor lights, a rear stick light, and a couple grill lights (all from Ultrabrightlights) that I’m going to be setting up soon.

Is it possible to set up a specific pattern for each button on the controller? Say button 1 would be a steady fast pattern for all lights, then maybe button 2 would be slower pattern for all lights. If so, how do I program that to the controller?

Regarding my second question, am I able to sync my grill strobes with the visor lights? Like if I do a slow pattern for the visor lights, it’ll do a slow pattern on the grill ones (and vice versa)
I suppose this would also correspond to my first question.

This is for my personal volunteer firefighter vehicle.

Hello,

If you have a UBL Visor Bar, there is only one mode, so you can only use one pattern. If you would like to change the pattern on that mode, you can wire up the pattern change wire to the controller and make that button a momentary button. If you have UBL Surface Mount Lights and a UBL Stick Light, they have three modes, so you could have Mode 1 with a pattern wired up to a button on the controller and Mode 2 with a different pattern wired up to a different button on the controller.

You are not able to sync the UBL Surface Mount Lights with the UBL Visor Bar.
