WHAT COUNTS AS A QUALIFYING POST?
Content should help someone understand the product in real use.
Every Qualifying Post Must:
- Be original content showing a UBL product installed, working, on the job, or on your truck.
- Include your personal discount code or tracking link.
- Clearly disclose the partnership using #ad or the platform's partnership label, with disclosures that meet applicable requirements.
Accepted Content Formats
- Feed posts, Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, and YouTube videos count.
- Stories count for Partner, up to one per month.
- Stories do not count toward Ambassador posting requirements.
- Ambassadors also need a longer video or detailed review each month during qualification.
The ground rules
STANDARDS FOR EVERY LEVEL
We want useful, accurate content from people who take their work and equipment seriously.
- Show lawful use and follow applicable state and local vehicle lighting laws.
- Never present a personal vehicle as an emergency vehicle.
- Make only legality, compliance, or performance claims supported by our product pages.
- Clearly disclose your affiliate relationship on promotional content.
- Keep payout information accurate and respond to program communications.
PROHIBITED AFFILIATE ACTIVITIES
- Self-referrals or fraudulent purchases.
- Spam, unsolicited promotional emails, or deceptive marketing tactics.
- Promoting affiliate codes on coupon or deal sites without prior approval.
- Cookie stuffing or other unauthorized referral-tracking methods.
- Bidding on Ultra Bright Lightz brand terms in paid search.
- Impersonating Ultra Bright Lightz or using the brand name in domains or social media handles without authorization.

You receive a warning and one more quarter before a tier change. A quarter counts as met if you reach either the sales target or at least two-thirds of the posting target. We review progress quarterly.

Ambassadors sign a short content agreement before joining that tier. It explains where UBL may use your approved content, including our website, social channels, and ads, how long we may use it, how you will be credited, and how you can opt out. Any paid content licensing is handled under the agreed terms.

Who can apply to the UBL Affiliate Program?
Construction crews, first responders, DOT and highway workers, tow operators, truck enthusiasts, and others who create relevant, original content about vehicle lighting can apply. Every application is reviewed.
How does approval work?
Submit your application with information about yourself and the content you plan to create. Our team reviews applications manually. If approved, you start at the Affiliate tier with a personal code, tracking link, and access to creative resources.
How are my referrals tracked?
Referrals are tracked using cookies with a [30]-day attribution window. Eligible purchases completed within that window may earn commission, subject to the program terms.
How and when do I get paid?
Payouts are issued [monthly] through [PayPal] once your approved commission balance reaches [$50].
Why are my commissions pending?
Commissions are held for [30 days] to account for potential returns, cancellations, and chargebacks before they are approved for payout.
Can I earn commission on my own purchases?
No. Self-referrals are not eligible for commission. Fraudulent orders are also excluded.
How are tiers reviewed?
Tier maintenance is reviewed quarterly. Advancement to Partner requires the stated cumulative approved sales, distinct orders, and posting activity. Ambassador advancement also requires a manual review and a signed content agreement.
What if I miss a sales or posting requirement?
You receive a warning and one additional quarter before a tier change. A quarter counts as met when you reach either the sales target or at least two-thirds of the posting target.
Do I need a big social media following?
There is no stated minimum follower count. We review applications based on relevance, original content, and fit with the program. Clear, useful content matters more than a large audience alone.
Can I share my code on coupon websites?
Only with prior approval from Ultra Bright Lightz. Unauthorized coupon and deal site promotion is prohibited.
Can I advertise using the Ultra Bright Lightz name?
Affiliates may not bid on Ultra Bright Lightz brand terms in paid search, impersonate the company, or use the brand name in domains or social media handles without authorization.
What content rights do Ambassadors grant?
Ambassadors sign an agreement covering permitted use of approved content on the UBL website, social channels, and advertising. The agreement also addresses usage duration, creator credit, opt-out terms, and any paid licensing arrangements.
