Description

The Whelen Freedom IV Light Bar is an advanced lighting solution designed for superior performance and versatility. Built for reliability, the Freedom IV incorporates an Advanced Thermal Design to reduce stress on LEDs during extended operation, ensuring long-lasting performance. Center dividers with Liquid Injection Molded (LIM) seals and multiple lightbar sealing points protect internal components from water infiltration, maintaining integrity in all weather conditions. Hard-coated lenses further enhance durability by minimizing environmental damage caused by sun, salt, and road chemicals.

The light bar’s 100% solid-state electronics and point-to-point wiring between the I/O board and each lighthead make reconfiguration simple and efficient. Whelen’s patented Collimator™ optic design ensures unmatched light output, while corner modules blend light seamlessly for uninterrupted 360° coverage. Models are programmable with unlimited flash patterns, allowing for precise customization.

The Freedom IV is compatible with Whelen or vehicle-manufactured controllers through Plug & Play integration (WeCan only). Optional features include a photocell that automatically dims the lightbar at night while meeting SAE Class 1 requirements, and up to 16 additional Linear Super-LED directional modules. With a standard 17-foot passenger-side cable and an optional driver-side cable, the Freedom IV Light Bar is a state-of-the-art solution for professionals requiring dependable and adaptable lighting.
