We’re taking a look back at one of our most recent installs: Chris’s 2019 Ram 1500. We completed this awesome install in partnership with Mobile Max Audio in Bay Shore, New York. The goal with this project was to provide Chris with additional visibility in high-priority areas. He already had a light in the windshield, so we added mid-height visibility in the grille with two Feniex Fusion Surface Mounts, and visibility a bit lower to the ground with two sets of U-Lite Surface Mount License Plate Kits. To finish it off, everything was connected to a Feniex 4200 Mini Controller.
To learn more about the products we used, check out our breakdown below!
U-Lite Surface Mount License Plate Kit:
This kit features two of our fan-favorite grille lights: the UBL U-Lite V2 Surface Mounts. Featuring six, 3-watt LEDs, a slim, compact design, and TIR optics, our U-Lite V2 Surface Mounts are the perfect compliment to our license plate bracket. Use one in your car, truck, or emergency vehicle—or two like we did with Chris’s Ram—for an extra dose of brightness and visibility.
Feniex Fusion Surface Mount Light:
For stunning brightness, check out the Feniex Fusion Surface Mounts. Designed with 4-watt LEDs, 11 flash patterns, and tons of mounting options, this LED warning light is the perfect option for a wide range of industries and applications. Rugged, weather-resistant, and incredibly durable, Fusion Surface Mounts are engineered to withstand anything.
Feniex 4200 Mini Controller:
The Feniex 4200 Mini Controller is a favorite of our customers for a reason: compact but powerful, the 4200 Mini provides an incredible amount of control without the large footprint. This controller can be added to your center console without taking up too much space or requiring large modifications. It’s designed with seven backlit buttons, an integrated wig-wag flasher, and the ability to program buttons as on/off or momentary.
We love the way this install turned out! A big thanks to Chris for trusting us with his truck, and Mobile Max Audio for being such a great partner. Take a look at the install video below for a closer look at how this project went!
