It works well enough, it is bright, has some decent flash patterns, and more or less met my expectations with some exceptions.
Firstly, stuff that is advertised that is simply not correct; Integrated Front and Rear Flashing Modes (the front and rear are not separate on this bar, Integrated Arrow Directional Modes (this is not a mode on this bar), Built with a Rugged Magnetic Mount (I will address this below), Compatible with Quad Converter & 28 modes (it only allows 9 inputs with the quad converter, less than I wanted to use). Much of that seems to be copy/pasted from the larger bars.
Onto my personal experiences, firstly within two weeks a pair of red LEDs went out on my bar, they would come back on for a moment if you smacked it but would go back out shortly thereafter. Before I could get that fixed with warranty, the magnet mount flew off of my car at a pretty reasonable rate of speed, no more than 10 MPH over while responding to a structure fire. Next, customer service was a nightmare. They had said that the magnet mount was not intended for use in motion so would not warranty the bar and finally did when I asked where it said that before I purchased the bar, my replacement came with a printed piece of paper saying not to use the bar in motion but they did include a free permanent mount. When I tried calling customer service to get a couple of other issues fixed, those being the inputs thing, the fact that my bar and quantum 800 stick flash at different speeds and therefor do not sync, and that my replacement bar came locked while the original was ordered early enough that it was not, I was pushed off and promised a call back, with no such call back yet. Every time I have tried to utilize their customer service, even before ordering the bar to ask questions about it, has been a nightmare. I love the bar but I could not in good faith recommend Fienex to anyone.
