Dont let the back up alarm being a lower tone steer you away. The feniex (everything feniex btw) is made in the USA, and the quality and loudness is PERFECT! Well made, GREAT price, no jacked up pricing due to tariffs. Of course the mounting location of any back up alarm can affect the distance its actually heard. I have this one installed under my truck, its easily heard a minimum of a block away with normal traffic, at night? Easy two blocks away. Emergency vehicles, pulling a trailer, just want to be safeR backing up? This will do the job and, for a long time.
